A note to advise on the death of Brendan Redmond, father of current club referee Barry and grandfather of former underage players Eoghan & Padraig.

The death has occurred of Brendan Redmond Terenure, Dublin / Cabra, Dublin

Redmond, Brendan 7th July, 2024. (Late of Terenure, formerly Cabra and Retired Guinness). Peacefully in the care of the staff at Orwell Private Healthcare (Rathgar). Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) and loving father of Richard, Doreen, Bryan, Janice, Brendan, Barry, Marc and Keith. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and also by his daughters-in-law, Aileen, Sandra, Trish, Kate and Cliodhna, his son-in-law Declan, grandchildren Aoife, Jean, Alex, Patrick, Barry, Joanne, Conor, Helen, Gemma, Jill, Niall, Eoghan and Padraig, great-grandchildren Hugo, Sebastian, Remi and Lilian, his brother Tony, extended family of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Wednesday afternoon from 3pm until 5pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St. Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome (Garden Chapel) at 12.45pm.
