Naas RFC Minis are the pride of our Club. We are an inclusive and community club where we create an environment for younger players to come try out the game of rugby and to learn new skills under the coaches who are all garda vetted and Leinster Branch qualified to the their level of coaching.
We cater for kids as young as 5 and 6 who have an interest in rugby and want to learn in a fun environment - we call these the Rattlers. We also have a mixed ability team where coaching ratios are excellent and where support on and off the field is paramount these are known as our Vipers.
Girls and Boys play together at U7, U8 and U9's. At U10 we split the boys and girls. Girls play U10, U12, and then into Youths at U14, U16, U18 and Senior Women. The Boys play at U10, U11, U12 and then into Youth at U13, U14, U15, U16, U18 and then onto U20's and Senior.
Saturday mornings is full of excitement in the Club as our Vipers (Mixed Ability) train from 9.30am to 10.30am and all ages start at 10am. Some train for 1 hour and others fro 1hr 30 mins. We field teams in the North Midlands Area and we play home and away fixtures in clubs such as Athy, Blessington, Cill Dara, Clane, Clondalkin, Newbridge, North Kildare, Portarlington and Portlaoise. In addition to hosting friendlies with Clubs all over Ireland we also where we can attend Rugby Festivals during the season. One of the highlights of the year is the U11 Annual Joe Moran Festival where clubs from all over Ireland come and play in Naas towards the end of the season.
