A note to advise on the death of Phil Daly (née Power) mother of former underage coach Liam Daly and grandmother of former underage player Andrew.

The death has occurred of Philomena (Phil) Daly (nee Power), Business Person and Publican, O’Connell Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and formerly Dublin and London. Phil passed away peacefully under the tender care of the staff of Haywood Lodge Nursing Home in the late hours of Sunday evening. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Liam, she will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, Liam (Jnr), Donal, Orla & Seán and their respective spouses & partners, her adored grandchildren Andrew, Aoibhín, Gearóid, Niamh, Emma, Ben, Céline and Florence, sisters Veronica and Margaret, brother Paul, extended Daly and Power families, friends, neighbours and the wider community of Clonmel.
Rest in Peace
A private Funeral Mass will be held in St Mary’s Church, Irishtown on Thursday at 1.00pm. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the St Mary’s Parish livestream service www.churchservices.tv/clonmel. Burial will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery. Donations, if desired to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
